Hairline recreation

Scalp Micropigmentation

We specialise in disguising hair loss, restoring thinning hairlines, creating original hairlines with a 3D shadow effect, as well as adding definition to receding hairlines.

We will form a customised hairline only for and with you. Choose from a light and natural look, or something fuller. We always consider your face shape, your natural hairline, and consider ethnicity, age and style.

Designing your new hairline is something we take time over during your first treatment session. We add around 45 minutes to your first treatment session for hairline design. We take notice of your input on your preferred hairline, whether it be a defined hairline, a natural receded look, or a subtle, soft hairline. Our specialist will advise you along throughout the process. We start by drawing your new hairline on, using a wax pencil, then make any adjustments as necessary. Only once you are happy with your new hairline design will we begin the Scalp Micro-pigmentation treatment. Although you will have a new hairline in place from your first treatment, it will be a subtle result as we build the density of your treatment over your following treatment sessions. This allows for changes to your hairline if desired over these sessions.

Density

SMP is ideal for people of all genders who wish to disguise thinning hair.

A shaved head is irrelevant since we tattoo around your natural hair follicles. This treatment does not affect any current or future hair growth and is great for adding fullness to thinning hair as well to any hair transplant areas. The tattooed follicles on your scalp will reduce the contrast between your visible scalp and hair. This provides the appearance of a fuller head of hair. Your natural hair follicle size and colour will be matched and replicated for an undetectable and realistic result.

Female pattern baldness

If you have learned that you have Female Pattern Hair Loss or Alopecia, Scalp Micro-pigmentation, please know that we can help. Female pattern baldness is permanent hair loss with limited treatment options, and while some medications, lifestyle and food choices can help, most turn to camouflage.

Female Pattern Hair Loss is so common, so you are not alone. In fact, it affects one in three women. Hair loss can occur in women for various reasons apart from female pattern baldness:

  • Temporary shedding of hair that may occur after surgery, pregnancy or after a major illness (telogen effluvium)
  • Breaking of hair because of hair styling treatments and twisting hair
  • Alopecia areata – Patchy areas of total hair loss resulting from an immune disorder causing temporary hair loss
  • After chemotherapy and after taking medications
  • Certain skin condition
  • Hormonal imbalance (excess testosterone or thyroid hormone imbalance)
  • Iron or vitamin deficiency
  • Diseases like diabetes or Lupus

Fuller, Thicker Hair—Getting You, Back To You.

Scalp Micro pigmentation for women creates the appearance of density. Depositing our pigments under your existing hair creates a fuller, thicker look, which gives an undetectable and natural result.

Female hair loss is not spoken about in the manner male hair loss is. But it can be just as traumatic. Perhaps you’re facing thinning hair around your parting and crown areas, have alopecia or hair loss around the temple area because of tight hairstyles. Maybe you have complete hair loss. Whatever stage of the journey you are at, we can help.

Female Hairlines

Female hairlines differ from male hairlines, and our practitioners are very aware of this. They are skilled at creating natural feminine hairlines. Our practitioners will take your input on your preferred look and offer professional advice on the best hairline creation to give you a perfect, natural, subtle result.

SMP for women’s hair is done by tattooing around your natural hair follicles. Adding tattooed follicles to your scalp ultimately reduces the contrast between your visible scalp and your existing hair, which creates the appearance of fuller hair only in the areas it’s needed.

We treat hair loss resulting from conditions such as alopecia and hair thinning from hormone changes and stress. This treatment is suitable to thicken up the baby hair and hairline area, which we call the “perfect pony” look.

Your colour and size of your natural hair follicle is matched and replicated to construct an undetectable and authentic result.
